What Hutch Is
Hutch is a database for the work your AI agents produce. Agents connect over MCP and save records to collections, with no schema, SQL, or setup. People see the same records in the browser as tables, kanbans, calendars, timelines, and galleries, so a person and an agent are never working from different copies.
It works with the agents your team already uses, including Claude, ChatGPT, Codex, and Grok Bot. See the docs for how to connect one.
Open Source Core
The Hutch engine is open source under the AGPL v3, with Postgres underneath. Everything is reachable over plain MCP and REST, so you can export your data or move to self-hosting whenever you like. The code is at github.com/ExpeditedProjects/hutchdb, and self-hosting is free.
Who Runs It
The hosted version at hutchdb.com is operated by Expedited Security Inc. Questions go to mike@expeditedsecurity.com, or see the contact page.
