Custom MCP connector for ChatGPT (Developer Mode).

ChatGPT supports remote MCP connectors under its developer settings. Add Hutch as a connector and ChatGPT can read your collections, store new records, and answer questions over your data.

You'll need Developer Mode toggled on under Settings > Connectors > Advanced.

Install

~/hutch/install-chatgpt SETUP

01 Step 1. Add the connector

Open Settings > Connectors > Advanced and enable Developer Mode.

Click Add custom connector and paste this URL:

02 Step 2. Authenticate

A browser window opens on first use. Sign in with GitHub or Google and approve.

03 Step 3. Try it

In a new ChatGPT conversation:

  • > "Store this article in my Hutch reading-list collection."
  • > "Save the bugs we just discussed to a "tickets" collection in Hutch."
  • > "What collections do I have in Hutch?"
  • > "Find my notes about caching in Hutch."
