Use Hutch from
Claude Desktop.
Add Hutch as a custom connector in Claude's apps.
Claude.ai (web) and Claude Desktop both speak MCP over remote connectors. Add Hutch once and your chats can read from or write to your structured data without copy/paste.
The setup lives in Customize > Connectors. OAuth handles auth. Once added, Hutch is also available in the Claude mobile apps.
Install
01Step 1. Add the connector
Open Customize > Connectors, then click + Add > Add custom connector.
Name it "Hutch" and paste this URL:
https://app.hutchdb.com/api/mcpWorks on Free (one custom connector), Pro, and Max. On Team or Enterprise, an Owner adds Hutch under Organization settings > Connectors, then each member clicks Connect.
02Step 2. Add and connect
Click Continue through the authentication settings, then Add. Click Connect, sign in with GitHub or Google, and approve.
03Step 3. Try it
Start a new chat and try:
- >"Store this article in my Hutch reading-list collection."
- >"Save the bugs we just discussed to a "tickets" collection in Hutch."
- >"What collections do I have in Hutch?"
- >"Find my notes about caching in Hutch."
